1. Services & Compliance with Law

We provide domestic and international logistics, warehousing, and multimodal transport. We comply with:

• Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 & Central Motor Vehicles Rules for road transport.
• Carriage by Road Act, 2007; Carriage by Sea Act, 1925; and Carriage by Air Act, 1972 for respective modes.
• Multimodal Transportation of Goods Act, 1993—door-to-door liability and limits.
• International conventions: Hague-Visby Rules, Rotterdam Rules for sea; Warsaw/Montreal for air transport.

2. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate shipment details and legal cargo documentation.
• Properly package items—failure to do so voids liability claims.
• Declare value and nature of goods in advance if requiring higher liability limits under law.

3. Liability & Risk Transfer

Liability passes to Arsh Logistics upon acceptance of goods and reverts once delivery is complete. Key points:

• We assume liability unless damage is due to improper packaging, force majeure, or user fault.
• Multimodal transport liability limited per Act (e.g., 8.33 SDR/kg) unless higher value declared .
• Sea carriage governed by Hague-Visby—careful handling required from loading to discharge .
• Air carriage under Warsaw/Montreal—with liability caps and 2-year claim period .

4. Payment & Charges

• Payments due before or upon delivery unless credit is pre-approved.
• No set-off or withholding of payments .
• We hold general lien on goods until all dues are paid .

5. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

All disputes governed by Indian law and decided in Delhi courts, unless arbitration is agreed upon. International disputes follow global modal conventions above.
